Meet Three Of Our “Advocates Creating Change”

These “Advocates Creating Change” will educate Members of Congress and their staff about the importance of protecting living organ donors, extending Medicare coverage of immunosuppressive medications for kidney transplant recipients and increasing support for kidney research and programs. After donating, he was initially denied life insurance and later, once a policy was finally approved, he was charged outrageous rates all because he was an organ donor. NKF’s Richard K. Salick Advocacy Award

Salick Advocacy Award to an outstanding kidney patient advocate. World Kidney Day Congressional Reception
